How do payments work?
Hirers pay through the app with Apple Pay or card. Money is held in escrow and released to the worker when the job is marked complete. Communally takes a small platform fee — no surprise charges.
Is it safe for teens?
Workers under 18 need a parent to approve their account before they can be hired. Locations on the map are blurred to a neighborhood-level grid — exact addresses are only shared after a hirer accepts a worker. Identity verification is required for hirers.
What kind of jobs can I post?
Babysitting, pet care, lawn mowing, snow shoveling, tutoring, tech help, party setup, moving help, and anything else a neighbor can pitch in on

What's the minimum age to work?
13 with a parent's approval. We follow COPPA and California child labor rules — no jobs over 4 hours, no work past 8 PM on school nights, and parents see every job before it's accepted.
